About Waraqa

Waraqa is a personalised tear-off desk calendar with a letter for every day of the year, made by a small business in the UAE.

Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email. Keep access to them secure: anyone who can receive your codes can open your calendars.

How your calendar is made

After the survey, Waraqa writes a free preview with the help of AI: the first week and your special days. If you like it, you choose a plan and pay, and we write the rest of the year.

Standard (⁨AED 299⁩): letters written for the person you chose on 2 days of every week, on the first week and on up to 10 special days, with up to 20 rewrites by Waraqa; on the other days, warm general letters from our collection with their name filled in, which you can swap as often as you like. These general letters are not about your story, and other customers may receive the same ones. Premium (⁨AED 349⁩): every letter is written for them, with unlimited special days and up to 50 rewrites by Waraqa. Editing letters yourself is always unlimited. You can upgrade from Standard to Premium before you confirm.

After payment you can read, edit and rewrite every page. AI drafts can contain mistakes. You are responsible for the final content of your calendar: please read every page before you confirm it. When you confirm, days you have not reviewed are printed as they are.

After you confirm, the calendar is locked and cannot be edited.

What you may not include

Content that is unlawful, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may refuse to print a calendar that breaks these rules and refund you in full.

Price and payment

The price of each plan is shown in UAE dirhams before you pay. Payment is taken at checkout by our payment provider, Stripe. Your order is accepted once the payment succeeds and you receive the order confirmation.

Printing and delivery

We deliver within the UAE only. We aim to deliver within ⁨[5–10]⁩ working days after payment; this is an estimate, not a guarantee. Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct.

Cancellations and refunds

Until you confirm your calendar, you can cancel your order from the editor and get back everything you paid except ⁨AED 20⁩, which covers the letters already written and card fees. Because every calendar is personalised, it cannot be returned for a change of mind once printed. Our refund and delivery policy explains the details.

Your content

The letters and the details you provide remain yours. You give us permission to use them only to write, print and deliver your calendar. The Waraqa name, logo and designs belong to us.

Our responsibility

If something goes wrong because of us, our responsibility is limited to reprinting the calendar or refunding what you paid for it, except where UAE law does not allow this limit.

Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Disputes are handled by the competent courts of the UAE.
